Who can resist a witty man? So it’s fitting that the inaugural Quote-ology post features some of the best of Oscar Wilde. A Victorian author and playwright, Oscar once famously told a customs agent that he had nothing to declare except his genius. Oh, Oscar, so witty and humble!

When I was much younger I kept a card file of quotes I loved. I wish I knew whatever happened to that collection. I will enjoy your “virtual” version of that old card file!
